He had his first pair for years before they finally met their end. He had the exact same pair so of course he is very happy with them. He loves this brand and won't wear any sunglasses that aren't polarized.As far as I can tell these are real costa Del Mar sunglasses sold by “shadesdaddy”. Mine had the 580 etched in the lens. I don’t know if I just happened to see these on the right day or what but the price was less than $80.I have never owned a pair of Costa del Mars. I was impressed they fit great and don't slip off my nose. I went fishing with them and saw the water and fish just fine with the 400G lens. I never once the whole time regretted this purchase or the price. I did my research for months before purchasing them. I saw no difference with the 580 G vs the 400G not that I could tell.I have always been an Oakley person and still am for my other activities such as road biking and golf. Each pair has its use. I realize that lots of people can't afford different sunglasses for different sports. In less your like me and have very sensitive eyes in the sun. With that being said they are great for driving even on cloudy and rainy days. I would say invest in this it's worth the money. There is nothing you can't do in these. Besides the price was the best after shopping several retail stores. They did not have a big selection only what they feel sells well. I can't believe these are not a big seller. Don't get hung up on the blue or green lenses only if your buying for looks. If your buying these for what they are designed for there is very little difference between 580 G or 400 G. I would recommend them to anyone who would ask. I can tell you more than the reps can.
