In my search for cycling eyewear, I’ve looked far and wide. Oakley jawbreaker and sutro, melon optics alleycat, Tifosi, and Bliz. I found the jawbreaker frame too distracting, the alleycat too rounded and not comfortable enough for my head shape (great lens though), tifosi sledge too plastic feeling and uncomfortable nose piece, and the bliz lenses very smudgy and overall felt like a lesser end product. The Oakley sutro is pretty great but the arms are too long for some helmets and the lens changing can be tricky with the metal nose piece. I basically felt like I was working with a delicate piece of art even though they are incredibly durable. This is where the Smith attack mtb comes in just right. The coverage is in between the sutro and jawbreaker and in my opinion has a better range of vision, the lens is very clear and resists smudges rather than smearing, the frame and nose piece is comfortable and grippy, and it’s the easiest lens change by far. They feel very light on the face and the frame piece on the bottom is thin and doesn’t distract. Very happy i came across these and look forward to getting a lot of use out of them. Case is very nice as well.UPDATE: 3 hour 39 mile ride the other day and absolutely loved wearing these. I have the dark smoke lens and was surprised at how clear everything looked even in shadows. Did not experience any fogging at any point and was breathing really hard on a couple climbs. For most of my ride I almost forgot I was wearing them. The lenses are VERY clear. When wearing them in the bright sun I didn’t feel like I was was looking through dark lenses. It more felt like they were just balancing the light for my eyes, and balancing it evenly between light and dark areas. They were unbelievably comfortable to wear too. The nose pad sticks nicely, no slippage, and the arms were comfortable and a nice fit for the width of my head. I have zero complaints about these glasses and so glad I chose them. They are great, for the price. There are more premium glasses out there, but you’ll pay for them! Overall good venting, decent lens quality, and nice fit. Love the case they come in! Great for traveling and packing. Worth it for sure.Really good for mtb because the fit and the auto tinting . The only cons are the nose pad adjustment is pretty worthless and the arms can fall off just handling them.Fun color and matches my Smith helmet perfectly.very comfortable! When I ride, I sometimes have to take my glasses off when it is cloudy or when it becomes darker. With this glasses, I forget I have them on and they're perfect in all conditions! They're now my favorite glasses for MTB.I’ve been wearing these while mountain biking for about two months now, and they are fantastic. I have no issues with glare on rocks, sand, or snow, and they do a great job of keeping the wind out of my eyes. They fit perfectly, are high quality, and look great! The low light lens that comes with are perfect for forested trail rides. They are lightweight with maximum coverage, and block out most kicked up dust during those dry days. Best MTB glasses out right now.I've walked into buildings without realizing I still had these on, which is usually an issue with sunglasses. They block the sun well, keep the dust and bugs out of my eyes when cycling, and look great too.Initially I was pretty happy with these sunglasses. Eyebrow "shield" was protecting them from the smudges and overall quality looked nice. The first time I heard a bell ringing was when I discovered a crack in a spare "ChromaPop" lens, the one I've used just once. The crack appeared right next to the magnetic clipping mechanism.Yesterday (~5 months of regular usage) the main lens got a crack and almost immediately the magnetic clip broke off.I'm waiting for a warranty claim but I must say I'm not happy with the modern "single-lens" sunglasses because of how brittle they are. Yes, they are nice and good-looking but cracks appear way too soon.Update:The crack appeared again on the replaced sunglasses in the same spot after 2 months of usageI had an accident whilst wearing these. As a result they caused a large laceration above my left eye. The top of the lens slashed this area which needed 5 stitches. The leg broke off during the impact and, apart from losing the leg, the glasses were fine. I thought I would be able to buy a replacement leg, so no problem. Turns out Smith don't entertain replacement parts, only lenses! I contacted them and they kindly offered a discount code for a complete replacement pair. Great I thought, only you can't buy from their website from here in the UK(this is why I bought these from Amazon in the first place). I reached out with this matter, and the response was to take this up with Amazon? Surely this a manufacturer's issue? You have been warnedDie Brille passt perfekt und der breite Blickwinkel ist fantastisch.
